PH 243: Optics Laboratory

Fall, 2009

Assignment 1: Due 9/10/2009

Note that many people make a big deal out of relative uncertainty. Very few journals actually use relative uncertainties. It is much more common to see results reported with absolute uncertainties. All of the assigned problems, except number 2, require the uncertainties reported along with the computed value as absolute, not relative, uncertainties.

Solutions: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8.
