General Physics I and II Laboratories:

(PH/PE/MA/MG/CH/CE Majors)

The bookstore has the required laboratory notebook. If you do not wish to buy the notebook from the bookstore, it must be 9 1/4 x 11 3/4 in size, quad-ruled with 4 squares to the inch, and should have 75 pages or more. There are several suppliers through amazon.com in addition to local suppliers such as Office Depot (item numbers 951640 or 868568), OfficeMax (item 20139707), and Staples (item 623363).

While this notebook may appear to be fairly expensive, (a) there is no text to buy for this course, (b) the notebook will last both semesters of General Physics Lab, and (c) can serve as a notebook in other future lab courses.

The required laboratory text will be distributed at the first class meeting at no charge.
